Tom Cruise was among the famous faces who joined Sir Michael Caine to celebrate his milestone 90th birthday recently.
The 60-year-old Hollywood megastar was in great spirits as he joined in the festivities, at one point wrapping his arm around the veteran British actor.
The two actors have been friends since the eighties and both starred in the 2002 spoof Austin Powers spy flick Goldmember.

Michael – whose glittering career spans six decades – celebrated his special day with an intimate dinner with close friends and a chocolate birthday cake.
It came just days after Tom was a no-show at the Oscars in Los Angeles, despite his smash-hit Top Gun: Maverick being nominated for six awards, including best picture.
A rep for the action star explained his absence was simply due to scheduling conflicts as Tom was filming Mission: Impossible 8 in Europe.

However some reports hinted there was a more personal reason behind it – that he wanted to avoid a potentially awkward run-in with his ex-wife, Nicole Kidman, who was among the guests.
According to insiders there is no love lost between the former spouses, who divorced in 2001 reportedly over her refusal to join Tom’s controversial Scientology faith.
She was subsequently labelled a “suppressive person” and an enemy of the church.
The exes, who starred together in the 1999 erotic thriller Eyes Wide Shut, have not been seen at the same events for years with Nicole being notably absent from an Oscars luncheon in February, which Tom attended.
“Nicole and Tom hurt each other terribly throughout the divorce and after,” an insider dishes.

She wasn't part of the lives of their adopted children, Isabella (30) and Connor (28), as they follow their father’s faith too.
However in a 2018 interview Nicole, who has two daughters with second husband Keith Urban, appeared to have made peace with the situation.
“They are able to make their own decisions. They have made choices to be Scientologists, and as a mother it’s my job to love them,” she told Australia’s Who magazine.
