British singing superstar Adele (33) recently made a glamorous return to public life when she was spotted with boyfriend Rich Paul (40) at an NBA game in Cleveland, Ohio.
The Go Easy on Me hitmaker turned heads in her $12 900 (about R200 000) leopard-print coat by Alaia, perfectly coiffed tresses and black boots as she sat next to her sports agent beau.
The sighting marked the first time the pair have been seen together in public in months.
Their year-long relationship reportedly hit a rocky patch in the build-up to Adele’s sudden cancellation of her Las Vegas residency last month.
Adele was seen “shouting and crying on the phone” to Rich during rehearsals, insiders say, and the couple's busy schedules were cited as causing problems.
After pulling the plug on her residency, she reportedly holed up at Rich's Los Angeles mansion in a bid to get things between them back on track.
While she appeared relaxed and happy at the All-Star Game, eagle-eyed fans couldn't help noticing she'd replaced her £740, 000 (R15,2 million) engagement-type sparkler with an understated, simple band.
She sparked engagement rumours earlier this month when she flashed the diamond ring at the Brit Awards at London's O2 Arena.
She wore it again during an appearance on The Graham Norton Show days later, but remained coy when he quizzed her about it, saying, “If I was [engaged], would I ever tell anyone if I was or wasn't?”
Her return trip to England also saw her enjoying a wild night out at the renowned London gay club Heaven. She and her pals hit up the VIP section to take in the venue's G-A-Y’s Porn Idol event, and things soon turned raunchy when she got up on stage and started pole dancing in an expensive Fendi suit.
Meanwhile, fans who were left heartbroken at her cancelled Vegas shows will be pleased to hear her residency is likely to be rescheduled between June and September this year.
“That's the scheduling that would make the most sense,” a source told The Sun on Sunday. “Talks are ongoing at the moment, and the hope is that Adele's rearranged dates will be agreed very soon. She's made it clear that next year isn't an option, and everyone's keen to lock the dates in.”
