Harry Potter stars Jason Isaacs (59) and Tom Felton (34), who played the nasty father-and-son duo Lucius and Draco Malfoy, were reunited on London's West End when Jason turned up to watch his former on-screen son perform in the play 2:22 A Ghost Story.
The stars shared Insta snaps from the afternoon, with Jason bursting with pride at Tom's performance, writing in the captions, “So proud and, along with the audience, thrilled to see my boy commanding the stage today, breaking hearts and filling pants.”
“Equally terrifying, he's recording music and has a book coming out too. I feel smug if I take the bins out on the right day (doesn't happen often). I'd hate him if I didn't love him,” wrote Jason, before adding, “That's a work tan btw. I haven't caught trumphilis.”
Tom posted a selfie with Jason and captioned it, “My father heard about this play I was in.”
Between 2001 and 2011, the two appeared in the eight Harry Potter films. They were last reunited in December 2021 for HBO Max's Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts special, alongside the rest of the movie's cast.
Tom, who was 12 when he was cast in the hit film series, has nothing but praise for his Harry Potter co-stars, saying in interviews that he and his fellow child actors, “certainly learnt from the best in the business”.
“And I don't just mean the quality of their acting. I mean more how they held themselves, how they interacted with each other – how you talk to everyone, really. That was the most important part.”
