Actress Shannen Doherty, who is battling stage four cancer, has revealed her dying wishes, which includes one unusual request.
Speaking on her podcast, Let’s Be Clear with Shannen Doherty, she told her close friend Chris Cortazzo, who will serve as the executor of her will, that she wants to be cremated and her ashes “mixed with her dog and her dad’s remains”.
As to where she wants them scattered, the 52-year-old said she had not “figured that out yet”.
Taking a light-hearted approach to a morbid subject, the former Beverly Hills 90210 star said she knew a lot of people would attend her funeral whom she wouldn’t want there.

Without divulging any names, she said, “I don’t want them there because their reasons for showing up aren’t necessarily the best reasons.”
They would show up because “it’s the politically correct thing to do and they don’t want to look bad,” she added.
In her younger years Shannen earned a reputation of being difficult to work with. During her time on 90210 there were rumours of feuds and even physical fights with her co-stars Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling.
Similar tales emerged from her time on the hit series Charmed.
For her part, she’s said she’s “felt misunderstood” her whole life.
She says she doesn't want a sad funeral, but wants something more akin to a “love fest” where her friends can connect with each other.
Shannen was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015. After two years in remission, it returned and entered stage four.
Last year she made the heartbreaking admission that it had spread to her brain and bones.

In December she revealed how she’d learned that her husband of 11 years, Kurt Iswarienko, had been cheating on her right before she was to undergo brain surgery.
“I went into surgery early in the morning and I went in after I found out that my marriage was essentially over. That my husband had been carrying on an affair for two years.”
She said while he wanted to be at her side, she said no. “I couldn’t go into that surgery with him there. I felt so betrayed.”
Clearly, dealing with a divorce – her third - amid her ongoing cancer battle is not easy, but she’s still optimistic about her future.
“I’m not done with living. I’m not done with loving. I’m not done with creating," she told People in November.
“I’m not done with hopefully changing things for the better. I’m just not – I’m not done.”
