The new man at Man U: Erik ten Hag is ready to roll up his sleeves

Next year will mark a decade since Sir Alex Ferguson retired from Manchester United. At this point, it’s anyone’s guess whether the milestone will be marked with misery or fond nostalgia. Because right now nobody knows in what state the club he helmed for nearly 30 years will be by then. 

The club has appointed its fifth permanent manager since Fergie’s departure and by all accounts, Erik ten Hag faces a challenge that could rival that of any Eskom bigwig.
