Laughter is what she’s all about, so she really had her work cut out for her with her latest gig – because Tumi Morake had to hold it all in. The comedy veteran had to do her best to keep the giggles at bay as other seasoned comedians, singers and actors tried to elicit a chuckle with their antics.

It was actually torture, Tumi says of her stint on the show LOL: Last One Laughing, hosted by Trevor Noah, which is streaming on Prime Video. “But it’s also one of the most memorable things I’ve done,” she tells us when we catch up with her on a flying visit to SA for the launch of the show before she jets back to the US, where she’s now based.
