This soup with its delightfully Eastern flavour is quick and easy to make.
1. Heat the oil in a deep saucepan or pot and fry the spring onions, ginger and garlic until fragrant and soft.
2. Add the chicken/veggie stock and bring to the boil. Add the brown sugar, lime juice and broccoli, then bring to the boil again. Turn the heat down and simmer for 5-10 minute or until the broccoli is cooked but still firm.
