Ingredients
- 4 - eggs
- 250ml - castor sugar
- 250ml - milk
- 250ml - sunflower oil
- 15ml - vanilla essence
- - pinch salt
- 500ml - cake wheat flour
- 10ml - baking powder
- 125ml - cocoa powder
Method
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a 25cm bundt cake tin.
1 In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, castor sugar, milk, oil, vanilla essence and salt until well combined. Sift in the flour and baking powder and mix well.
2 Pour half the batter into a separate bowl. To this bowl, sift in the cocoa powder and mix.
3 Pour half the vanilla batter into the prepared cake tin, followed by half the chocolate batter.
4 Pour in the remaining vanilla and chocolate batters, alternating between the two. Use a wooden skewer to gently swirl the two batters together.
5 Transfer to the oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the middle of the cake comes out clean. Finish off with an icing of your choice.
