Ingredients
- 3 - oranges
- 10 - whole cloves
- 60ml - castor sugar
- 30ml - lemon juice
- 160ml - pomegranate juice
- 60ml - white rum
- 500ml - white wine
- - ice cubes, to serve
Method
1 Remove the rind from one orange in a long strip with a vegetable peeler – make sure you avoid the white pith. Stud the cloves along the rind and place in a large jug.
2 Peel the remaining oranges thickly and cut into thin slices. Add the orange slices, sugar, lemon juice, pomegranate juice and rum to the jug. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
3 Stir the wine into the jug and top up with ice before serving.
