This heartbroken dad has been left to care for three children on his own after his beautiful new bride died while giving birth to twin girls.
Radik Fathullin and Dilya Sabirovi tied the knot several weeks ago.
The 33-year-old bride was recently admitted to hospital in Tatarstan, Russia, to give birth to twins.
But in a tragic twist of events, the young mom died shortly after giving birth to two baby girls.
According to Dilya’s unnamed friend, she went into labour ahead of time and had to be transferred to a different hospital to the one she’d planned to go to.
She gave birth to the first girl naturally but needed a C-section to deliver the second twin, according to reports.
Her husband said amniotic fluid got into her blood which later led to a serious blood infection.
Dilya reportedly first slipped into a coma before dying, leaving her husband to care for her three children alone.
Ten-year-old Amirkhan is the victim’s son from a previous relationship, reports say.
Local media said Radik is living in a rented flat and doesn’t have much support available for raising his children.
His deceased wife only has a sister around and Radik’s friends are trying to raise money for the father in need to cope.
He named the twins Asylyar and Ayzilya as the couple previously planned.
