They’re pumping out TikToks by the minute and their Instagram accounts have massive followings. They’re as savvy as 16-year-olds on social media – and not for them the description of a doddering dear befuddled by anything related to tech.

In fact, these grandfluencers are likely to put normal people like you and me to shame when it comes to online activities. They’re making the most of their free time and what technology has to offer, winning followers and fans the world over.

Grandfluencers refer to influencers over the age of 65 who are using online platforms to debunk age stereotypes. The Covid-19 pandemic resulted in many older people embracing tech because they couldn’t see their kids or grandkids, and so the grandfluencer trend really took off.
