The boy had taken the ball from her and arbitrarily changed the rules of the game in his favour. She was livid.

Aitana Bonmatí was just seven years old, but her fighting spirit was already clear for all to see.

“She argued with him because she didn’t understand why he’d done that and she was mad,” says the Spanish footballer’s dad, Vicent Conca.
