This woman loved her pet bull terrier so much she had his face tattooed on her arm and used his ashes in the ink when he died

Dog mom Robyn Moscrop (27) was heartbroken when Bronson, her three-year-old bull terrier, unexpectedly died.

After her four-legged friend was cremated, a woman who worked at the crematorium told Robyn that her pet's ashes could be mixed with ink and used for her next tattoo.

Robyn's boyfriend, tattoo artist George Ricketts, confirmed that it was possible and so she decided to go ahead and make Bronson a permanent part of her. 

“He was a crazy dog. He made such an impression on everyone because he had such a personality,” said Robyn, who lives in Birmingham in England.

George worked for eight hours to recreate Robyn's favourite photo of her dog in a perfectly inked portrait of him on her arm.

“Seeing it when it was done was really emotional, I did have a cry,” Robyn said.

“Sometimes I talk to it, the tattoo, as though I talk to him.”

“Having his ashes on me means that he’s always going to be with me, no matter what."

Robyn loves her new tattoo.

“I can look down to see him and he’ll never ever be forgotten because he’s there, on me, for life.”
