Don’t send him flirty messages, always dress appropriately and remember – he’s a mama’s boy so I can make you go away.

These are just some of the rules one controlling mother set for her son’s girlfriend.

The girlfriend, known only as Emma, shared the list of demands on the social media app, TikTok.

“My boyfriend’s mom just posted this on Instagram,” Emma, who’s from Louisiana in the US, captioned a screenshot of the rules.

They included not using her son as a bank machine and the mom was sure to mention that if rules were broken, she knew how to make her son’s girlfriend go away.

She also added that if she found sexts on her son’s phone, she’d end the relationship.

“He's a mama's boy. Unless you have a ring on your finger, your opinion doesn’t matter,” one of the commandments reads.

The mom had one final warning for Emma: “If you weasel your way past all of these rules and fake your way to a ring on your finger, I’ll be something much worse than your boyfriend's mom – I'll be your mother-in-law.”

The clip Emma (18) posted on TikTok has gone viral, racking up more 130 000 likes.

Many users warned the teen to leave the relationship before things got worse.

“Break up now. It’ll never get better,” one cautioned.

Another made light of the situation: “Oh, she’ll definitely wear white at your wedding.”
