Cancer-stricken tween from Pretoria loses her battle with the disease: 'her bucket list will never be complete'

On her wish list were a few things marked with a tick - she tried a variety of soft drinks and ate ramen noodles to her heart's content; she received a tablet and could visit the Gold Reef City amusement park. 

But there were also other wishes: cancer-stricken Demi Labuschagne (11) from Queenswood, Pretoria, wanted to visit the sea one last time; she also dreamed of fishing with her grandfather one last time. 

She fought so bravely and so hard, but Demi Labuschagne's cancer-ridden body was tired and emaciated. Her aunt, Belinda Labuschagne, confirmed she'd passed away on Sunday just months after the cancer was diagnosed.
