To the world, they were a picture-perfect couple – a young farm manager and his pretty dark-haired wife, who seemed madly in love and devoted to each other.  

A few weeks ago Raymond Papapavlou (28) presented his wife, Simoné (25), with an enormous rock of a diamond ring – a gift to show his devotion – and she showed it off at every opportunity.
