Madiba's eldest grandchild and Zoleka Mandela's cousin opens up about their family’s grief

For many, the month of December is a time for family, holidays and festivities, but it is often also a somber reminder of loved ones we’ve lost.

For the family of the late Nelson Mandela, it’s a reminder of the passing of a man who was an icon, as well as a grandfather and great-grandfather.

This holiday season is also the first the family will celebrate without Madiba’s granddaughter, Zoleka Mandela, who died in September.
