The Grade R class at Benoni Junior School are charging around the playground when one of the kids takes a tumble.

Ntokozo Ndaba is the first to help the little boy to his feet. “You see,” she tells him. “If you had legs like mine you wouldn’t have fallen.”

Just minutes before the boy had been teasing Ntokozo about her prosthetic legs but the six-year-old isn’t the kind of kid to hold a grudge or take things personally.
