They had talked about getting married and both agreed they wanted a small, intimate wedding. The possibility of them having children was also on the cards.

Jeandre de Beer and Adriaan Holtzhausen were working towards their dream. But it all came crashing down when Adriaan died last June after suffering a heart attack in his sleep.
