Online judgement isn’t a new thing. Pineapple on a pizza or not? Then there was the toilet roll debate – do you mount it so the paper rolls over or under from the roll?

Now, a New Zealand dad, who runs profiles on several social media platforms under the moniker How to Dad, just got hilariously roasted for how he arranges his cutlery drawer.

He posted a picture of his cutlery drawer which sparked an unexpected and ferocious debate, after claiming his arrangement was the only correct way, the Mirror reports.

“I’m sorry but if your cutlery drawer doesn’t go in the order ‘knives, forks, spoons’ then you need to go,” he captured the pic on his Facebook page.

And people weren’t having it.

According to The Sun, he stirred up some passionate responses with many arguing that you should store cutlery in the order in which it’s used at the table.

“Why would you put the knives on the left in the drawer when at the table you hold your knife with your RIGHT hand?” one irate use wrote.

“Put the knife and fork in the drawer as you would lay them on the table – then spoons go to the side. Honestly, I despair for mankind. I had no idea so many people were getting this simple concept so wrong!” another added.

Many were up in arms and one unimpressed user argued that only a “psychopath” would do that.

Lesson learnt: some things should just be kept to ourselves.
