A blind Labrador named Dumpling is in search of a new home after he was dumped at the age of 10.

The adorable pooch lost sight in both eyes after they were removed for causing him “a lot of pain”, reports The Metro.

But Dumpling, who was left at a pound on the Gold Coast in Australia, has plenty of love to give to anyone willing to welcome him into their home.

“Unfortunately, I was dumped at the pound at 10 years old. Blind, overweight and alone,” reads a Facebook post by Labrador Rescue.

“Since being in care I have lost over 13kg, so I would like a new family to help me stay on this weight loss journey (although I really don’t have much more weight to lose). As I am now older, I find that small frequent walks are perfect for me.”

Although he has a disability, Dumpling wants you to know he isn’t high maintenance.

"All I do is bark at them. I won’t hurt anyone. I would ideally like a home with no stairs," the post reads further.

"I don't need much in life, just a nice warm home in which to enjoy my last few years."

Our hearts are melting!

Any takers?
