Woman is confined to a wheelchair after brutal beating – from her husband

A newlywed woman has been left badly scarred and confined to a wheelchair after her husband and his parents physically abused her.

Goski Harikrishna’s terrifying story has been revealed after her brother, whose name is unknown, demands justice for his badly beaten sister. The incident is alleged to have taken place at the couple’s home in Maharashtra State, western India.

The battered woman was beaten into a coma earlier this year while being pregnant with her first child. She has finally gathered the courage to tell her family about the horrendous abuse she has been suffering.

She claims that her husband, Vikas Sadhwani, would beat her during arguments and would even go as far as torturing her. The shocking abuse has allegedly been happening for a year.

Goski gave birth to the pair’s baby girl on 13 July but refuses to go home out of fear for her abusive husband.

Her mom and brother have asked police to investigate Vikas.
