Authorities at The London Clinic, where Kate Middleton was being treated, have launched an investigation to determine if the Princess of Wales' privacy has been breached. This comes after claims surfaced that a staff member illegally tried to access her medical records.
According to the UK's Mirror, senior hospital bosses immediately alerted Kensington Palace of the incident and assured them that there will be a thorough probe into the matter.

“This is a major security breach and incredibly damaging for the hospital, given its unblemished reputation for treating members of the royal family,” a source told the Mirror.
“The whole medical staff have been left utterly shocked and distraught over the allegations and were very hurt that a trusted colleague could have allegedly been responsible for such a breach of trust and ethics.”
The London Clinic, which also treats former presidents, prime ministers and celebrities, says they “firmly believe that all our patients, no matter their status, deserve total privacy and confidentiality regarding their medical information.”
The incident took place just a day after TMZ published a video of Kate (42) out in public for the first time since her surgery in January.
In the video, the princess is seen smiling as she speaks to her husband, Prince William, outside a Windsor farm shop. The shop is about 1,6km away from Adelaide Cottage where they live.

"Kate was out shopping with William, and she looked happy, and she looked well," a source told The Sun.
However, the sighting has done little to quell the online speculation about her health.
