Seems there’s really nothing stopping the Sussexes this year – new country, new house and now a hot new project.

Harry (35) and Meghan (39) have reportedly been shopping a top-secret project around Hollywood, a new report says.

The couple, who recently moved into their dream house in Santa Barbara, California, have been sharing their ideas with “numerous” media companies and want to serve as joint producers should it get picked up, Variety claims.

While it’s unknown at this point what exactly the new venture is – whether a movie, documentary or series – what is clear is that they’re determined to get a foothold into Tinseltown.

Inside sources claim that NBC Universal was among the media outlets they pitched to.

A meeting is said to have been set up with top company executives, including Bonnie Hammer, chairman of NBC Universal Content Studios, who knew Meghan from her years on Suits.

A friend of Meghan’s told Variety she has no intention of acting in her project or in any other ventures.

Meanwhile the couple could be affected by the upcoming US presidential election if Democratic nominee Joe Biden wins, a tax expert warns.

“If the Democrats ‘do a sweep’ there will be a jump in capital gains tax from 23 % up to the 47 %.” David Lesperance told the Express.

This will affect the tax they pay on their new mansion, which they bought for a whopping $14,7 million (about R254 million).

Meghan recently confirmed she will be voting in the upcoming election and as a committed Democrat there are no prizes for guessing who she’s cast her cross next to. Harry, of course, isn’t a US citizen so he doesn’t qualify.
