Sarah Ferguson is embracing her battle with breast cancer and is proving to be an inspiration to many.
Speaking on her new podcast, Tea Talks with the Duchess and Sarah, the ex-wife of Prince Andrew says she thinks of her cancer as an “enormous friend”.
“I really feel this is really exciting, about having this enormous friend with me, to such a degree I feel like I've got a shield of protection, because it feels like it's definitely there to say, ‘We've got this’.”
It is a coping mechanism that works for the 63-year-old, who also says she believes in “manifestation” and “the power of positive thought”. “I think there’s no question about it.”

In a previous podcast, she spoke about how her daughters, Princesses Beatrice (34) and Eugenie (33), responded to her diagnosis, saying it was “scary” for them.
“You really start looking at your own demise. It’s a wake-up call, and you think, right, okay, how am I going to deal with this?”
