The late queen’s favourite grandson, Peter Phillips, is single again

Peter Phillips (46) is a single man again. After three years of dating he and girlfriend Lindsay Wallace (43) have called it quits.

The news comes as a surprise as many expected Lindsay, the daughter of oil tycoon Keith Wallace, to become his second wife.

Over the past few years the pretty blonde has been a constant fixture at his side. Peter even introduced her to Queen Elizabeth before her death in 2022, fuelling further speculation of wedding bells.

However it was not to be.

Peter’s official spokesperson, Gerard Franklin, has described the break-up as a “private matter”, however insiders say the relationship simply “ran its course”.

His demanding work schedule, which saw him away a lot, was also a factor.

“Peter’s business commitments and work in Formula One meant he has been away and travelling non-stop,” a source told Hello! magazine. 

Peter is not a working royal. He runs a sports and entertainment management company called Sel UK; is chairman of City Racing Ltd, a global horse-racing network; and is a patron of ISPS Handa, which sponsors golf tournaments.

“It obviously came as a shock as most people thought they were absolutely rock solid. It’s very sad. Peter has been travelling all over the world and has been incredibly busy and Lindsay is based up in Scotland, so it’s been hard for them to see each other.”

The former lovebirds made their public debut as a couple at the Epsom Derby in 2022, a year after Peter’s divorce from Autumn Kelly, the mother of his daughters, Savannah (13) and Isla (12), was finalised.

They were introduced by Peter's sister, Zara Tindall, who attended the same school, the elite Gordonstoun in Scotland, as Lindsay. 

Over the years Lindsay accompanied Peter to many major royal events, including the platinum jubilee celebrations for the queen in 2022 and King Charles' star-studded coronation concert in May 2023.
