Miley! What happened to your pants?

During my varsity days, I could often be walking around campus in a billowy skirt, white top, big jacket and no shoes. Yes, I was one of the drama kids who, for some reason, thought it was cool to be barefoot – even though I walked to campus everyday and the stones along my route weren't forgiving on my soles.

Our small varsity town was separated into faculty cliques and you could tell which department someone belonged to just by what they wore:

•    Goth make-up: Probably in drama.
•    Jeans, a cap and slogan t-shirt: Journalism.
•    Mini-skirts and heels: Marketing.
•    Blazer, slouchy jeans and a top: Law and/or Economics.

Of course these are generalisations but it does seem like we all left home and then realised we have the freedom to dress in ways that would make our parents shake their heads. What is it about being that age?

Well, here's Miley doing the Hollywood version of post-school fashion. By "Hollywood version" I mean that while the rest of us still put on a pair of pants during our student days, Miley will be traipsing around Tinseltown wearing as little fabric and showing as much side-cleavage as possible. Whilst licking giant penises, of course.

It's okay, honey, we've all been there. One day you'll wake up, realise that a blazer does not constitute an entire outfit, and opt for a pantsuit or dress instead. I hope. In the meantime, let's enjoy the coming years, shall we?
