SA's largest furniture retailer, Lewis, is urging the government to show stronger leadership and fix basic infrastructure such as the rail and road network, with taxpayers wanting to see some value for all the money paid into state coffers.
Speaking after the release of full-year results to end March 2023, the company's CEO, Johan Enslin, said the country was facing "many risks at this point in time" and would like to see "stronger leadership from government" amid rolling blackouts and crumbling infrastructure.
