Keke Palmer's relationship with Darius Jackson has made headlines for all the wrong reasons.
Months ago, the father of her child, Darius, shamed her online for wearing a sexy see-through dress while being serenaded by Usher at a concert.
He faced backlash for the tweet, resulting in him deleting it after people called him unsavoury names.
He was also labelled as "abusive" for that response.
This time around, Keke is requesting sole custody of their son, Leodis, after alleging Darius has been physically abusive on multiple occasions, according to PEOPLE.It has been reported the actor has filed a request for a domestic violence restraining order in Los Angeles.
Screenshots from a security video of the alleged abuse have also gone viral, where a man can be seen shoving a woman on the couch.
During their two-year relationship, Keke mentioned in court documents filed and reviewed by Us Weekly that Darius "trespassed into my home without my knowledge or consent" and "threatened" her before "lunging for my neck, striking me, throwing me over the couch and stealing my phone".

In a viral video addressing what had happened to her daughter, Keke's mother, Sharon Palmer, broke her silence.
She said: "I went to his Sarunas [Darius' brother] over a year ago and told him his brother was abusive. He said, 'Oh, I used to be like that too'. What?
"He taught his brother how to be abusive."

In court documents seen by PEOPLE, Keke alleged "the abuse during our relationship was not just physical, but emotional and manipulative", the filing for the restraining order read.
"Darius would 'love bomb' me and make me feel like I was the most important woman in the world, only to get extremely distant and cold over a perceived insult to him.
"If we were at a party or event, and I spoke with one person too long or looked at someone a 'certain way', he would storm off in a rage - telling me I was 'slut' and a 'whore', accuse me of cheating on him, and that I did not love him.
"Darius had a way of gaslighting me to make me feel like I was doing something wrong even though I wasn't."
