- Things between Quora user, Jenny* and Keith* were good until they had children.
- He started acting up and mistreated her after the first child and it got worse when she gave birth to her second child.
- Eventually, he started cheating and Jenny and the husband of the woman he was cheating with schemed to get back at him.
Jenny shares on Quora that her husband of 15 years wasn't too happy about her first pregnancy. He was livid about the second pregnancy, and he let her know that. At this point, their marriage was unhappy and seemed to be going nowhere.
"One day, I got a call from a guy named Jeff* who told me that he had a private investigator follow his wife and my husband," shares Jenny. Jeff had proof that they two were having an affair."I believed him. After a long talk, he said that he wanted to save his marriage and asked what he could do to break them up. I told him, 'Simple! My soon to be ex (as I knew I was done at this point) is a big coward. You need to call him and scare him.'"
Jeff said he'd do better than a mere phone call.

Jeff was a building contractor, so he got some big guys from his crew and loaded them on his truck and proceeded to wait for Keith at his favourite hang out spot where they scared him and warned him about the affair.
"Frightened out of his mind; my ex got home before 9 pm, which was the first time since we had our second-born," Jenny shares.

He became so paranoid that he wanted all the doors, blinds and windows closed.
"He also wanted the phone off the hook, but somehow it was hung back up. He jumped every time it rang," Jenny says. To scare him even more, Jenny got her sister to call and hang up several times.
The scheme worked as the affair collapsed and Keith started to spend more time at home, as did Jeff's wife.
"Jeff called to thank me and asked if he could do anything to help me. I had one favour to ask," Jenny says, adding that she asked him to provide her with the evidence from the private investigator to help her divorce case.

"When we went to the divorce court, my attorney presented all of the evidence collected by the private investigator. My ex had no idea this was coming, and his attorney sat down and put his hands over his eyes," Jenny shares.
While many Quora users were glad Jenny had ended the marriage, they also had some extra thoughts for her.
One jokingly noted: "Lol. Well, I would’ve organised for him to come home and find me with the said contractor in the bedroom (not really doing anything, just for the show). Or one of his best looking friends."
Another user shared: “Revenge is a dish best served cold. While revenge is gratifying, in the long run, it only perpetuates the issue."
