Admit it. You, like me, are guilty of reading those dirty, sexy reads. More than once. Heck, I’m going to take it one step further by admitting that I dog-ear my favourite steamy scenes in order to re-visit them as often as possible.
But, now that I’ve discovered this article featured on Breitbart.com, I think I may just have to reconsider lending my copy of Fifty Shades of Grey to my girlfriends.
According to Breitbart, two Belgian University professors decided to submit the 10 most borrowed books at the Antwerp Library, for bacterial tests.
Of course, E.L James’s hit was amongst the pile. But besides the traces of cocaine found on all 10 books tested, the scientists also found traces of herpes *Horror!*
But, us Christian Grey groupies can relax.
The concentration of the virus isn't enough to acutally give you herpes. Luckily.
Imagine trying to explain that to your husband. Ha!
