While many excellent charity stores exist, the homeless often can't afford to buy even the cheapest clothes. Enter "The Street Store".
The concept is simple. The Street Store's location is marked out by posters, and it's merchandise is donated shoes and clothes. The homeless will able to come help themselves, no cash needed.
Most of us have clothes we choose not to wear. The homeless don't have that luxury. Donate your unwanted clothes to the people who need them most.
The Street Store's first pop up happened on Tuesday 14 January at Somerset Road, De Waterkant outside the Salesian Institute.
