We love it when a love story ends in happily-ever-afters; and nothing says that more than seeing a couple tying the knot and celebrating their big day with all their nearest and dearest by their side.
We’ve rounded up some of our favourite reader weddings – so if you’re looking for ideas, love a good love story or want to submit your own wedding snaps to be featured on W24.co.za, you’ve come to the right place.
A winter wedding so dark and lovely
Le'Chelle & Sean met in church as awkward teens, became best friends and were together for eight years before Sean popped the question in front of some of their closest friends and family. Because of her love of the forest, Le’Chelle and Sean decided to have their wedding at Die Woud.
The result is a stunning wedding with a winter atmosphere with rustic vibes in a lush green setting.

It all started with a tweet
Tarryn became good friends with Garth’s cousin on Twitter and then later IRL when they discovered they worked in close proximity to each other. She eventually met Garth at his cousin’s 21st and their love story took off from there.
He proposed at the very same place he first asked her out and their big day was nothing short of stunning.

When reunions end up in marriage
Ulpha and Zunaid knew each other for years (they met when she was 15 and he was 18), but they only reconnected again during the course of 2016.
They planned their wedding within two days and kept it simple and elegant while being surrounded by all of their loved ones.

For the love of music
Road-tripping and music proved to be the perfect combination for Matt and Nicole. The couple first met when Nicole was camping at a lagoon to attend a birthday party and Matt offered Nicole and her friends a lift to the actual camp site.
What followed was the beginning of a romance that would culminate in a to die for travel-themed wedding.
