A recent Vanity Fair photo shoot featuring daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, Rumer Willis, is ending in quite the upset as Willis is calling the aspirational fashion magazine out for digitally editing her jawline - making it appear smaller than it really is.
The latest celebrity to publicly comment on the way media manipulates images, Rumer took to Instagram with a strong message, asking for the image to be taken down:
Although still beautiful as ever, Rumer appears along with her sisters in the spread on famous sisters, with a more stereotypically "feminine" looking jawline. More delicate if you will.
Photography team, Mark Williams and Sara Hirakawa, disputes Rumer’s assertion that any drastic image manipulation was done. According to AP the image was retouched to resolve distortion and that no jaw-altering was done.

Really? We're pretty sure she knows what her own face looks like.
According to Jezebel, Rumer didn’t feel comfortable with her body as a teenager. For years, she grappled with her self-image and even considered plastic surgery, thinking that if she changed her face she would be happy.
Zendaya was also a victim of Photoshop when Modeliste Magazine drastically made her body look even skinnier than it already is. And recently another incident took place where Zendaya and Willow Smith appeared whitewashed on the cover of W Magazine.

Is this a new form of bullying in the fashion industry? It went from telling women that they needed to change their supposed "flaws" (that never needed any fixing to begin with) to changing the entire structure of a face - arguably the core of one's physical being.
What's next? A new head?
