Multi-award winning South African illustrator and street artist, Karabo Poppy, has teamed up with Nike for an Air Force 1 Low collection, a first for a South African artist. Poppy’s work can be seen on Soweto Towers, the first custom African basketball court, labels for Odd Bins, and now the massive collaboration with Nike By You.

The inspiration behind Poppy’s collection is African beaded bracelets with vibrant palettes that include red, orange, green and purple, as well as the barber and beauty salon posters on the streets of Johannesburg. The collection is also customisable with a variety of motifs, custom lace jewels and looped heel pull tabs.
Poppy’s collection goes live on Thursday 7 November 2019. Prices are yet to be confirmed. Congratulations to Poppy on her Nike By You collaboration!
