Anele announced via Twitter that she will be experiencing the Oscar festivities as M-Net and M-Net Movies host for their red carpet special on 25 February (SA Time).
“I will be hosting the red carpet at the Oscars this year for MNET and MNET MOVIES ...and the Oscar goes to... you for making sure you don’t miss the biggest award show on earth,” she wrote.
Anele also expressed her nerves about the new opportunity. “I actually have butterflies in my tummy from the thought of hosting the red carpet at the Oscars !!!! It’s major vision board stuff. Dankie MNET. Dankie life.”
She follows the footsteps of last year’s host, Lalla Hirayama.

Anele has been in the entertainment industry for over a decade and keeps soaring to new heights. In November last year, entertainment commentator, Phil Mphela, announced the news of Anele’s production company, Roses and Oaks.
