This new marijuana based lube that supposedly facilitates the female user with a 15-minute orgasm has me (understandably, I think) sceptical.

See, while I like a good time as much as the next girl, I just can't see how a 15-minute orgasm would be practical or pleasurable. If you keep in mind that the following things happen to your body when you climax:

- Faster breathing
- Increased pulse rate
- Rising blood pressure
- Spasming vaginal muscles
- Contracting large muscle groups

it seems like I’d injure myself or have a stroke or something.

Also, I’ve met quite a few potheads in my life, and the phrase “insane sexual energy” isn’t really the first thing that springs to mind when you think of stoned people.

The lube is made of medical THC oil in a coconut oil base, making it “delicious to eat”. Apparently the lube works to calm you and eradicate feelings of “stress and hate”. Now I’m just going out on a limb here, but maybe the appropriate time to have sex shouldn’t be when you’re filled with feelings of hate?

Anyway, the point they're trying to make is that cannabis is an aphrodisiac and this lube is gonna knock your socks off. If you can get it prescribed by a doctor, that is.

So what do you think? It sounds a bit snake oil-y to me, but let's put aside medical scepticism and focus on the supposed result. I did a quick poll around the sex positive, pro-orgasm women in the office and basically we were all in consensus:
