Debbie Forster admits she was skeptical, but now couldn’t be happier after dropping eight dress sizes in six months.

She now oozes with confidence and vows to never weigh over 146kg again, as she did previously. She says, “I tried every diet before but I would always give up. I wasn’t mentally strong enough to stick to it. A friend recommended The Hypnotist Man, Robert Hisee, and I thought 'what have I got to lose?'"

Though skeptical, Debbie was desperate and willing to try anything to lose weight. “I spent the afternoon with him [The Hypnotist Man] and he taught me how powerful the mind is and made me truly believe that I could do anything if I put my mind to. I was hypnotised but I had no idea it was happening, it was really odd when I left the session, as I knew he didn’t really insert a gastric sleeve through surgery, but I immediately felt as though he did," the 49-year-old says.

“My weight problem was due to portion sizes and relying on comfort food such as six bags of crisps and a family sized bar of chocolate but from the hypnosis onwards, I could only stomach small amounts. I couldn’t believe it; I was full from just a handful of food such as porridge or spaghetti Bolognese."

One month after the hypnosis, in June this year, Debbie went on a week retreat and managed to lose 6.3kg. To date, she has climbed a mountain and her whole mindset has completely changed as she is feeling more confident than ever.

Debbie gained weight following the death of her mum Norma in 2014 but is now determined to maintain her weight loss and hopes to be a size 12 for her 50th birthday in January.

“I looked like my mum and subconsciously I think I overate to get rid of the constant reminder every time I saw my reflection.  Earlier this year, I craved to be happy again and now I am. I feel like a different person, I don’t mind the mirrors anymore and enjoy clothes shopping in store rather than online," she says.

She says she has not only gained a new mentality through The Hypnotist Man but a friend too.  “I want to help other people who are trying to lose weight and I hope my story shows them that there is light at the end of the tunnel,” Debbie says.

The Hypnotist Man says, “When I first met Debbie she looked really depressed, she had a very low tone of voice, she was timid and she was extremely overweight. Following her session Debbie and I have stayed in touch along her journey – she is now 44kg lighter and I am very proud of what she has achieved.”
