The designer, Quiteria Kekana, who hails from Limpopo showed his latest collection at the luxurious Ritz Paris, Place Vendôme in a solo show that once again proved that black is the runway and red-carpet colour of 2020 – it’s been spotted on some of most prestigious red carpets and runways of this year so far.

The designs featured bold accents, predominantly in yellow shimmers, and structure which was created with the intention to “transmute energy into irresistible furnishings for the human body”.

The gowns may seem effortless and graceful (as the bodies that wear them), however, precision and expertise of the label’s team are the proverbial radar that transformed textiles into haute couture.

Quiteria credits Sir Ernest, his junior designer and other team members for the success of the sartorial showcase.

It was only fitting that some of the statement pieces in the collection be showcased by none other than SA’s faves, Nandi Mbatha and Tessa Twala.

Here are the gowns the actresses showcased and other pieces from the collection.
