We're only two days into women's month, yet we're already bubbling over with admiration for all the South African women who are making a mark in their respective fields of expertise and talent.
Of course, we sing their praises during the other 11 months of the year too, but you can't help but crank the volume up a bit more during the month of August. And today is dedicated to SA's entertainment and media darling, Nomzamo Mbatha.
Many things stand out about Nomzamo - from her effervescent personality, to her humanitarian work and her winning red carpet style - it would take more than one article to pen her journey of success, so how about we just get into her style for now?

As much we'd all love to get inside the award-winning media personality's wardrobe, the closest thing to doing so is getting a vicarious peak into it through her own words.
Scrolling through her Instagram feed, what's quite difficult to ignore is the actress' arsenal of shoes that boasts enviable pairs of sneakers, so with regards to her new favourite pair of kicks right now - the new Puma Nova 2 sneaker - this is what the Puma ambassador said;
“I love that you literally can rock the sneaker with anything... including a ball gown! Which in my case is the most daring thing I always do.”

She may not be wearing her Novas here, but she certainly did not lie when she says she likes to add a bit of an edge to an evening look by wearing sneakers (swipe the gallery to see it).
Plus, a quick chat with Nomzamo about her Goddess of Beauty award, fearlessness, and communicating that through her style:
In March, you received the “Goddess of Beauty” award at the International Women of Power Awards. What does the award mean to you and how do you interpret that into real life?
It was an incredible honour to be recognised on an international platform for living my truth. My grandmother always taught me about beauty starting from the inside and it permeating outwards.
And so being a goddess is first about walking in your light, boldness and truth and it then translating into the physical clothes we adorn ourselves with.
Do you also express that through your sartorial choices?
Always! I always want to look like myself but in the goddess form - at my boldest and most fearless! Fashion is fun. We must always play!
With Women’s Day coming up - celebrating the strength of women - what advice would you give to women to regain their strength in any aspect of their lives?
How I regain my strength in most situations or moments is when I confront my fears and pursue boldness in everything that I do. We must also surround ourselves with people and things that motivate us and affirm us in the best way possible.
With that said, what does it mean for you to be bold?
To be fearless and to keep pursuing my dreams, despite my inhibitions.
