When we did our forecasts for all the top fashion and beauty trends to keep an eye out for in 2019, there was brief mention of how animal print will fully cement its spot in the world of fashion this year.
And it sure has. From the snakeskin ensemble that our influencers and local celebrities took a keen liking to earlier this year, to the burgeoning cow hyde trend, all the way to Kim K's archival Azzedine Alaïa one-pieces, everyone has become an animal-lover in the most unapologetic way.
When luxury labels ditched real fur, faux fur gained a major retail moment. Then several brands did away with the use of exotic skins and animal print received the biggest embrace from the fashion industry. So it seems fashion is slowly going vegan, and PETA is shaking!
So with leopard, snake and zebra print items flying off the rails, Instagram has seen an influx of well-considered head-to-toe ensembles worn by fashion enthusiasts both locally and internationally.
But today's style inspiration comes particularly from one of our feline friends from the Big Five, the leopard and her wildlife pal, the zebra.
When changing your spots is just not an option.
You can opt for a look with three separates in the same print.

Secure the bag || Three months ago, I packed my entire life up in two Tumi suitcases and relocated to New Orleans to costume design my first movie. Since my days at W to now, and everything in between: innumerable international fashion weeks, styling jobs, trips to Paris, India, Nigeria, home to Bermuda and back... my Tumi suitcases have been my can’t-live-without travel companion. Please note, your girl does not pack light. Thank you @tumitravel for helping me see the world and never failing me once. I can’t wait to see where my new Alpha 3 takes me next #perfectingthejourney #ad
Mix it up like Melody and Tiffany.
Or go for one standout item like Giovanna & co.
