So, dad shoes, aka big, 'ugly' white sneakers are the footwear staple that will define 2018. Now, we don't just buy white sneakers, we buy real 'ugly' ones. The 'uglier' the better. For sure.

But how do you wear them? Obviously on your feet, yes, but because they're so big and clunky you need to balance things out with a slick, more delicately put together look.

Street style queens are pairing these boat-like sneakers with tracks, joggers, ankle grazing jeans, and beautiful printed trouser. The key to styling, I would say, is to balance the casual and the more structured and tailored. If you wear joggers with dad shoes, you need to add a fitted element to avoid looking too caj.
Opt for a structured white blouse, a blazer or cropped top with exaggerated sleeves. A tailored plaid jacket will also spell perfect harmony.
Whether mini or midi, I just love the look of oversized blazers, short skirt suits and floaty skirts worn with these clunky numbers.
