If you’ve ever travelled anywhere for a few days, you’ll know that packing shoes can take up a lot of space, leading to compromises you’d rather not make, especially when travelling according to luggage size restrictions.
Tanya Mulesa, a former manager in sustainable energy, travelled extensively for work and found herself with a similar problem.

Tanya loves shoes and previously spent large sums of money on footwear, yet she couldn’t always take her favourite pairs everywhere she went.
So, the enterprising mom decided to design her dream shoes — gorgeous 12-in-one sustainable chameleon shoes aimed at streamlining wardrobes.
“Working in sustainability, I thought I was a hypocrite [by] being so consumerist. I wanted a declutter, and kept thinking about what a gap in the market there was for shoes that are built to last, but can be adapted for different styles and occasions,” Tanya says.

Her brand, Cleverstein London, is so sustainable that even the interchangeable accessories that are used to amend the style of the shoes are made from handbag scraps.
Tanya only uses eight pairs from her previously extensive shoe collection and hopes other brands will follow suit.

Say goodbye to being forced to pack only one pair of shoes for your trips, because with Tanya’s invention, one pair makes 12.
