ACTOR Mlamli Mangcala (49) is lucky to be alive after he survived a hijacking in Philippi, Cape Town.

The former The Queen actor said he was sitting in his car in the Browns Farm area when a gunman pointed a gun at his head and ordered him to move to the passenger side of his Audi.
