For the first time in history, Miss Earth 2020 will be crowned during a virtual coronation on 29 November.
Reigning Miss Earth 2019 Nellys Pimentel will crown her successor. South Africa is yet to secure the Miss Earth title.
This year the 84 candidates were split into four continental groups: Asia & Oceania, Africa, Americas and Europe; and competed virtually in various challenges. Competitions included beachwear, talent, nation costume, sportswear and long gowns.
South Africa's Lungo Katete placed third in national costume, second in the beachwear and sportswear and first in talent (singing division).
