Grammy-award-winning artist Lizzo is the latest celebrity to 'launch' her relationship on her Instagram. She captioned images with her beau Myke Wright 'hard launch' in a series of photos she posted this past weekend.
What is a hard launch? Lisa Portolan wrote, "For those unfamiliar with the relatively new celebrity-led trend of soft or hard launching a relationship (predominately) on Instagram or TikTok, it sees users subtly ("soft") or explicitly ("hard") revealing a new relationship via a photograph or video and accompanying caption."

Lisa further explained in her article on The Conversation that a soft launch might involve an image of two hands clasped together, think the Kourtney Kardashian/Travis Barker intimacy reveal. In contrast, a hard launch might feature the lucky couple locking lips (think Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck).
About a year ago, Lizzo kept her cards close to her chest when asked about the man in her life. But that is a thing of the past. While receiving her Grammy Award for the Record of the Year, she said, "I want to thank my man for holding me down."
In recent months, she has made appearances with him and taken pictures with him. However, the post shows a swift change in approach; this relationship has been launched hard.
