Quora user Liz Creamer shared a disastrous wedding experience of an acquaintance with whom she worked. The bride's parents planned a beautiful wedding for her but it ended up being disastrous after she got ill.
Before her wedding, the bride started not feeling well and developed a blistering rash. It was later discovered that she had a bad case of chickenpox.

"This was before there was a vaccine for it, and somehow she had never been exposed as a child. Poor thing, her entire face, arms and décolleté were covered in angry red blisters, and she was as sick as a dog," Liz says.
The wedding still went on as planned, but there weren't many pictures, and the bride even had to skip her reception due to how sick she was. The honeymoon was postponed.

The chickenpox didn't entirely take away the wedding experience; once Stacy was healed, she and her loved ones gathered together in their wedding attires to take proper wedding photos, even though it didn't happen on the actual wedding day.
