- Stilo Magolide released a new single titled Shein Cart that has made him randomly clear Shein Carts.
- So far he has cleared 17 carts and the most money he has spent on clearing one was R9 000.
- The rapper has receive DMs from people pleading to have their carts cleared.
Bumping into the South African rapper, Michael ‘Stilo Magolide’ Chirwa, is like bumping into Santa Claus. From Durban to Johannesburg, he's out and about randomly clearing Shein carts.
Shein Cart is Stilo Magolide’s new single that has led him to buy all the items in stangers' online shopping carts.
He says he wanted to make a hip hop song that would relate to women because he felt like at most times, hip hop is not accommodative of women. “I felt that the biggest catalyst of the dip of hip-hop is also just not having female support.”

Stilo also explained that the female audience is important because contrary to other genders, women go all out whenever they support something.
“I feel like female support is the forefront of any type of support.”
Before making the song, Stilo did his research on what most women have an interest in. Apart from Shein carts, he considered a song related to hair, nails and restaurants. He then went on to contact some of the close women in his life, including his friends and exes.
He found out that most women have an online shopping cart that they keep adding items to but they never really clear it. “They’ve never even received a single package from Shein,” he said with a surprised tone.
From the first week of March, a few days after the song dropped, Stilo Magolide was Santa Clause, clearing 17 carts so far. “Yoh, it’s quite a lot,” he said as he went through his phone.
In case you bump into the musician and would like to get your Shein cart cleared, just know that it is at random and there are no certain requirements that you have to meet. “Who I select is also a feeling. I walk past somebody and then say ‘Shein cart?'”
However, knowing his latest single is not enough because he does check your music streaming services to see if you have actually listened to his song.
There is a limit to the amount he spends on clearing them. “I’m not going around clearing ridiculous carts,” he said after encountering some that add up to R20 000. He says the highest amount he has paid was approximately R9 000.

Stilo Magolide has also received multiple direct messages from women who would love to have their items paid for, but unfortunately, he can't do it for everyone.
“I’m getting a lot of messages [that say] ‘Oh I need this for my business, I need that for my business’ and I’m like I want to help. If I could, I would clear everyone’s carts but it’s not realistic.”
Stilo has enjoyed the interactions that he has made over the past few weeks and he describes the process as a quick and easy one. His highlight is being able to put a smile on someone else's face.
Some of the women that he has approached actually declined his offer, giving them only one chance to accept.
