  • Liyema and Willy are the two housemates to leave the Big Brother Mzansi house this week.
  • Liyema mistakenly chose to take a R250 000 offer and had to leave the house thereafter.
  • Liyema would like to venture into the music and skincare industries, and Willy would like to partner with brands and start a career in logistics.

This week the Big Brother house said goodbye to Wilfred 'Willy' Thathane and Liyema Pantsi.

But wait, there's a catch! Liyema was not evicted from the Big Brother house. Instead, she "mistakenly" chose to take a R250 000 offer from Big Brother in exchange for her leaving the house.

"I didn't choose to take the money at first "cause I didn't hear the rules," she says, explaining that taking the R250 000 was not her plan and believes it was God's plan instead.

"I thought Biggie said, 'when you hit the buzzer, you then decide whether you want to take the money or not.' I clicked the buzzer and then to my surprise I was taking the money," she further explained her debacle.

If it weren't for the R250 000 offer, Liyema believes she stood a great chance at winning the actual R2 000 000 cash prize. "Yes! I think I would have won now that I know that I had a big fanbase or a strong fan base that was rooting for me from the beginning," she said enthusiastically.

However, Liyema says she lives without regrets and claims she is "currently in a good space."

With her plans of venturing into the music industry and starting a skincare business, she will be putting the money to good use.

Apart from missing out on the remaining R1 750 000 of the cash prize, Liyema says she will also miss McJunior, Sinaye, Yolanda, and Meelay, who called her "mamas" every morning.

She has also learned that not everything needs a reaction.  A questionable statement from Liyema because it seems like she had some scandals with her fellow housemate, Els.

Similar to Liyema, Willy also learned from the Big Brother house that not everything needs a reaction. That accountability, responsibility, and not caring about what other people have to say matters.

He stated that Makhekhe is one of the housemates that he will dearly miss. "He was the most entertaining for me. He was genuine and fun throughout my whole season." "I will also miss the drama that was caused by Liyema, Jareed, and Mpumi," Willy stated.

Fortunately, Willy did not involve himself in any of the drama and he says he is on a clean slate with every housemate.

He concluded by sharing his plans for the future which entail working with clothing, fitness and skincare brands. He also has a qualification related to logistics and  will be venturing more into that field as well.
