A good hat can take your outfit from simple to chic in a matter of seconds.
Easter usually calls for Sunday church services or elegant and hearty lunches with friends and family. What better way to pull your whole look together than with an elegant sun hat or trendy cap?
No matter the season, there’s a trendy sun hat, spoti or crochet hat that – when complemented well with your outfit – will take the look to the next level.
The outfit you’ve decided to sport will be a clear indicator of what hat will best suit your look, but don’t be afraid to play around with different textures and complementary colours like orange and blue, purple and yellow or red and green to revolutionise your look.
The best part about donning stylish headwear is that there are more than just for bad hair days. Carefully crafted and fashionable hats can have you being the centre of an entire room.
Local hat designer Mandisa Cosa-Nkwenkwezi of Nwakazi Millinery previously explained to TRUELOVE the kinds of headpieces she enjoys designing that take her back to the old glamour of a different era.
“My designs are not modern, because they’re mostly inspired by those hats were from my grandmother’s youth. I do not follow trends or what’s currently being made, because I want to make classic pieces, which can be passed on to your daughters.”
